Optical Microdisk

Old Data Data Medium

Charlies Foxtrot’s were hired to obtain an optical microdisk that was stolen from Mr. Johnson.

Optical Disks were used in the late 50’s and 60’s as a hard ‘backup’ copy for data retention. The technology had advance to the point where you could store a petabyte on something as small as a coin. While the medium has fallen primarily into disuse, some optical microdisks are still used by technophiles.
